We took our friend here for her first time. Phil’s food is always consistently good! She had a burger, I had the shrimp, and the other girl had catfish bites. All of us enjoyed our food. What makes a difference is our service. We were lucky to have Melanie!! She is always on top of it and very friendly. We’ve gone there for years, and she is definitely one of our favorites.

Ate here tonight with my husband and 1 1/2 yo and had a wonderful experience. Family-friendly atmosphere. Everyone was friendly and the food was delicious. Overheard other diners commenting how good their food was as well. We can’t wait to go back and try more!

Had a really good prime rib sandwich here. My wife got a chicken fried steak with baked potato and both were absolutely massive. We took home enough food for multiple meals. The place felt cozy and the service was extremely friendly.

My mom and I shared the Fried Green Tomatoes, 3 Meat BBQ plate (Brisket, Pulled Pork, & Smoked Turkey) w/fried okra and steamed broccoli, and banana pudding for dessert. Oh. My. Gosh. So good! We were so happy to stumble upon this little place in Montgomery! The atmosphere was adorable and the staff was super pleasant and efficient. Maddie was an absolute gem! I highly recommend this place for some good ol' cooking.

Friendly, quiet and cozy atmosphere. Customer service was on top of their game. Food was served fairly quickly, onion rings were crispy and special sauce was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. Baked potato was huge and delicious. I wish the bbq sauce wasn’t included in the chopped brisket... but on the side... Burger was juicy and bread was sourdough, yum yum!! Spotless restrooms. Overall, A very nice experience.

Chicken fried steak the size of your head with a side salad & steamed broccoli ... I'll get three meals out of this! When we're craving CFS, this is where we come in Montgomery. Plenty of parking & seating, & the staff is always friendly! So much drama with parking & possibly getting your car towed in Montgomery these days, so we often come here instead to support our local small business owners!

Was passing by and decided to stop in to Phil’s Roadhouse & Grill. We are sure glad we did. Demi was our server and kept up with all our needs. Her suggestions were right on target. The food was very delicious and plenty of it. We are planning our next stop there. Highly suggest Phil’s for great food and customer service.
